The AI Futures Initiative.
EOS's school-wide approach to AI is delivered through the AI Futures Initiative — a joint commitment by Elite Open School and the Center for Future Global Leaders (CFGL), launched in 2024. It is our working standard and governs every program, grades 1–12.
Our stance
Access to technology must always be paired with strong character and good judgment. AI is a powerful tool — but a tool, not a decision-maker. We believe students should first learn to use AI responsibly before they learn to build with it.

How we hold the line.
Human Oversight First
AI is a tool, not a decision-maker; humans are always responsible for the final decision.
Safety by Design
Every AI tool vetted and age-appropriate; no unmonitored systems.
Ethics as a Core Skill
Fairness, bias, privacy, and social impact in every project.
Transparency & Data Protection
Student data is never sold, shared, or used to train commercial AI models.
Equity of Access
AI learning available to all students.
Continuous Alignment
We update our practices to stay aligned with the latest global guidance.
Grades 1–12, one standard.
Across grades 1–12, the foundation comes first: younger students build the knowledge that makes AI useful before they lean on it; older students move from responsible use to building real solutions — always under the same six principles.
