The world changed. Education has to change with it.
AI can now write, calculate, and search faster than any of us. What it can't do is think critically, solve problems creatively, or communicate with real judgment — the abilities that decide who leads. Yet most schooling still rewards memorizing and repeating: exactly the work machines now do for free. Preparing students for this era means building what AI can't replace — on a foundation strong enough to put it to work.
The Method
Kinetic Learning: a different way of learning.
Kinetic Learning replaces the passive cycle of listen, memorize, test, forget with something active. Woven throughout the program, it makes learning inquiry-driven and discussion-led, with teachers who facilitate rather than lecture — pushing students to apply what they know, defend their reasoning, and adapt when the problem changes. You'll recognize elements of project-based learning, active learning, and Harkness-style discussion in it. What makes it Kinetic is that this is simply how students work here — not a special activity they do now and then.

Critical Thinking
Weighing evidence, spotting weak reasoning, and holding a position only as long as it holds up.

AI is the defining tool of this generation — but a tool is only as good as the mind using it. A student who knows little and prompts an AI gets little back; a student who knows a great deal gets a force multiplier. So we introduce it deliberately, stage by stage.

Knows the student by name, goal, and learning style, and adjusts the plan as they grow.

Building toward the application from the first semester of 9th grade, not junior year.

Daily, in-person accountability at the Learning Resource Center.
