Admissions

International Students

Elite Open School is authorized by SEVP to enroll international students and issue the Form I-20 for F-1 visas. Trained Designated School Officials guide each student from application through graduation.

International

Studying at EOS on an F-1 visa.

Elite Open School is SEVP-certified and issues the Form I-20 for a full course of study. International students attend one of five SEVP-certified Learning Resource Centers and check in with their Designated School Official (DSO), who counsels each student and helps them maintain F-1 status. The I-20 is issued for a full course of study, not for a single semester.

Four ways in.

International students join one of four tracks, chosen with the admissions team around English proficiency and goals.

  1. 01

    EOS Bridge Program

English proficiency and cultural adaptation over one to two years, preparing students to transition into American high school or college. Students furthest from grade-level English can access dual-language options.

  2. 02

    College Prep (Core) Diploma

For English-proficient students preparing for U.S. college admission — completing EOS graduation requirements on a college-prep track.

  3. 03

    ESL / Dual Language

Core academics in the morning and intensive ESL in the afternoon, with a path into the College Prep track after one to two years.

  4. 04

    Specialized Sport & Talent

Flexible scheduling for athletes and performers, with accredited diploma requirements maintained and DSO approval for training absences.

Where you'll attend

International students on an F-1 visa attend one of our five SEVP-certified Learning Resource Centers in California. You choose one center at enrollment, and it cannot be changed once your I-20 and visa process begins. Each center has a Designated School Official, and F-1 students attend a minimum of 20 hours per week on site.
